I thought America was on Ukraine’s side.
Is nothing sacred?
Russia and the US actually worked together regards the terrorist threat and specifically some of the Islamic based terrorism.
They warned us about the Boston bombers: https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSBREA2P02R/
Actually, it’s good to see that all of this hasn’t been set aside by this idiotic war in Ukraine we caused.
Nobody needs these events...even your enemies. It’s good that Russia and the USA share.
And therein lies the problem. The US government and its media allies lie _constantly_. So even if they had been telling the truth this time, it would be very difficult for Russia or anyone else to believe them. There are consequences to living a life of constant deceit, that go far beyond poor polling numbers in “which US institutions do you trust?” type polls.
This assumes it was actually an ISIS attack. Color me skeptical.
The headline is a lie. The warning was in the English section of the Embassy website, it lacked details.
Russian foreign ministry requested additional information but none was provided.
Why would anyone believe the Biden regime have tried to help Russia avoid a terrorist attack when its done everything it can to destroy Russia during Biden's term?
Because of all the operatives pushing the Swamp's agenda in Ukraine while Biden's agenda is ripping the country apart.
And we were warned of 9/11 and chose to ignore that as well.
And there are other events our government is ignoring, like the terrorist threat from the illegal immigration they are enabling and false flag operations the FIB is knowingly recruiting people for.
And who created and supplied Isis to overthrow Assad?
What are you referring to?
Neo-con, uni-paty, RINO conservatives that believe a war where you cannot articulate a viable security threat for us is somehow a conservative issue?
Tell me, how has this war made us as American any safer, more wealthy, or free?
A war that was caused by NATO East expansion and by a globalist Democrat you are defending as a conservative? Is that what this is?
If you were in Russia’s shoes, you would have done the same exact thing. And we did: Cuban Missile Crisis, Grenada. This cased a war: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/ It was unnecessary, predictable that it would happen, and how it would end.
Here’s an idea, the path we were on pre October 2021 by arming, training and feeding Ukraine intel (even though in violation of Minsk) made the cost for true Russian aggression costly, but it did not provoke a war by creating an eminent security threat for Russia. Yes, us basing missiles, missile defense, tanks, troops, fighters, bombers, ships and personnel on Russia’s borders is a threat to them, as it would be for any other major world power, including us.
Since when is interventionist, expansionist, globalist (supra national), economically motivated, offensive, foreign meddling, a conservative value?
Please overwhelm me with any facts, anything other than some Cold War cliche, using emotional words/catch phrases, or some personal attack. ANYTHING-
I’d say it wasn’t really ignored. They may have thought they had it covered, or maybe spooked the attackers into backing off. And you can’t have security people on round the clock high alert forever.
Sorry you are a nut..and I don’t waste my time with nuts
...if you were a Conservative there would have been something we might have had in common to talk about..
But unfortunately, this site has lost fidelity to God, County and willingness to serve..
What’s the conspiracy “theory?”
That NATO is expanding East and that the argument can be made that we promised not to do that?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug2468hDl6E
https://www.france24.com/en/russia/20220130-did-nato-betray-russia-by-expanding-to-the-east
What’s a “theory,” that we violated Minsk?
Or that we withdrew from the Ballistic Missile Treaty?
Or that we offered NATO to Ukraine in October 2021?
That we try to violate Montreux routinely?
Please tell me, where am I making an assumption or simply throwing out a “theory?”
How about you, what is your solid argument? Ukraine being a democracy, that this is for human rights, or Ukrainian national sovereignty? Hahaha
I believe in nationalism, putting the US first, not globalism or supra national institutions that superseded the US Constitution.
I support free and private markets, not this crony capitalism we have today with a few big oligarchs that control everything and work hand in glove with the policy makers.
I support smaller government, decentralization, and privatization wherever possible, not these big government conservatives like Romney, the Bush’s etc that simply grow government even more, simply with different folks benefiting from this massive government and its spending.
You are right, we don’t have much to talk about. You’re one of those people that use the term “conservative” to describe yourself but in reality supports big government, is OK with government crapping over the US Constitution if it serves your interest today, and is all about foreign interventionism and meddling.
Obviously he isn’t “conservative” either: https://www.mountvernon.org/library/digitalhistory/past-projects/quotes/article/it-is-our-true-policy-to-steer-clear-of-permanent-alliance-with-any-portion-of-the-foreign-world/ (((ONLY YOU))) know what it means to be a “conservative.”
You are right, we don’t have much to talk about.
