I am really surprised that the Russians have not started to destroy all undersea cables to the United States. The US is so dependent on offshore IT services, data hosting, and multinational corporations that cutting those data cables would cripple the American economy.
I'll be interested to see if that includes their sudden influx of "newcomers". That could prove a two-edged sword, both a dangerous population to arm and a deterrent to more coming. Risky business.

In Germany it’s not an honorable and socially high regarded profession.
The Germans are cheap when it comes to defense, they don’t want to pay people competitive wages which would attract folks.
So for them FORCING people into the military might make sense in order to achieve a minimum manpower threshold.

I am not sure at all that WE should not want to cut the cables.
Russia doesn’t have to. This Biden cabal is doing everything they want.
This should go over really well in today’s Germany.
Trying to imagine being a German in Germany, where they welcomed in millions of Muslims, then turn around and force legitimate German citizens into the military fight for them and their insane country killing policies.
War slaves! Even the blockhead Germans aren’t going to war on the eastern front again. This is just drama, designed to make people afraid so they will support the agenda. They’re trying to act like invasion is eminent.
The Germans are not German
WWI, the exodus after the Nazis came to power, WWII, the exodus after the war, the post war pacification programs in the East and West, stripping Germany of those areas where the German military traditions mostly come from (Prussia), mass immigration since 1950 (just Turks they have over 3,000,000), globalization which affects us all.
Today, Germany is something, they are an economic and political power, they have borders and a country on a map, but these people are culturally foreigners in their own land, they are in no way similar to their forefathers.
The day will come where the only place the Volksdeutsche will be safe is Poland.
Oh, the irony.

Russia was dominating Europe peacefully with oil and gas exports. Now they face a continent of enemy states.
Putin may be remembered as Russia’s single most disastrous leader.
Germany had the post-WWII draft for 54 years and ended it in 2011.
