The military cannot be used to “fix” anything political.
...not be either ‘side’, but particularly by the right. It will be immediately and in perpetuity described as a military coup d’etat (installing a ‘dictator’ blah blah yadda yadda), and frankly, it would be hard to argue with that description. If we are really down to the military fixing it, it’s over.

If you read all of Trumps EO’s they follow the law of war manual and the military most certainly can constitutionally step in to remove a belligerent foreign force. I think the reason the military did not step in on Biden’s inauguration day is exactly because of your argument. Like Trump said “I didn’t sign the insurrection act because I wanted everyone to see how bad it can be if things are run poorly”.

So for 3 plus years everyone has seen and experienced the pain. IMO in coming months we are going to devolve into near chaos and when the military does step in most people will be OK with it.
