I think the loan case will ultimately be thrown out, however, the other one will be more difficult to escape, and since it is a state case we might have a president leading the country from prison.

The pardon power of the president may extend to state cases. It has never been adjudicated.
Trump assumes office, grants himself a pardon on ALL cases, fed or state and dares them to try and get past the secret service. The cases would be tied up for years or outright dismissed in his favor.
