Washington Post senior critic-at-large Robin Givhan provided a rousing defense of Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis on Thursday. Although her defense was short on facts, it was definitely heavy on fashion, most likely due to Givhan's previous stint as the Washington Post's fashion editor.
However, from the headline of her story, "When Fani Willis took the stand, her fury was precise and laser-focused," you would have thought facts would have been the emphasis instead of fashion. That is, until you read the fashion-filled story.

Don’t follow reporting laws for gifts to your political campaign? “Oh you’re black. You do in the ‘it’s a black thang’ exception to all the rules where you can just say you paid them back with cash and all is okay.”
Take money out of your campaign illegally to live on and spend? No worries. “It’s a black thang!” No rules apply to you, Fani.
Lie to a Judge in an affidavit? That’s okay. We can’t get into it or force you to answer if your friend committed fraud because “Someone from the bar association told you...” otherwise!
Fani Willis is disgusting.
Guess it’s best to speak of the cheap dress she wore backwards. Yes, look closely. She’s wearing the dress backwards.. Was the dress put on in a room without a mirror and in a hurry.

I wish you knew what you were talking about before you blast off your mouth. The dress was equipped with what's known as an "invisible zipper" in the front. Yeah--not all dresses zip in the back! And, there were darts (areas where tucks are sewn into the dress piece to shape it) in the front to give room for the bust. The dress was not put on backward, it just was an ugly dress without any real style. Just like the one wearing it.
Disgraceful. The ComPost is garbage.
Women who act lie Fani come off as lying and deceptive; because they are. There is nothing about her fury that was precise or convincing. A normal judge would have held her in contempt.
