Yeah, no kidding. I was shopping for car insurance and got a quote in late December. 3 days later, the quote was almost exactly 20% higher, without any change in the driving record of anyone in my family.

My hatred of insurance companies knows few boundaries. There are a few decent ones out there (like USAA), but the rest are a bunch of utter scum.

Oh, and before I forget: thanks a crapload to the Dem cabal that is running Grandpa Hairsniffer, you’ve once again utterly screwed the general public. How anyone could vote for more of the same just boggles my mind.

The insurance game is totally a rigged ripoff. Obey all the laws, have a perfect driving record? Never get in a collision? So what! They're jacking up your rates because they can.

Understand that almost all insurance rates are set and regulated by State Insurance Commissions. So, if there is a problem, it is really with the State regulators, which are either headed by appointed or elected officials (AKA political hacks).
