Didn’t watch the interview, honestly don’t care about the interview.
However, I am sure at some point I will probably sit down and watch it... do I expect to really LEARN anything major from it? Not really, Putin isn’t going to let anything he doesn’t want out out.
The fact Tucker went and had an interview with Putin neither improves or declines my general opinion of him.
I don’t know what his reasoning to do it was, because he has to have known Putin and the handlers in Russia were never going to let anything that they could remotely consider damaging get out there.
All interviews with everyone are intended to let nothing damaging out.
I read an alleged transcript and it looks real. I saw nothing new from Putin’s answers. What one might see is simply Putin’s answers, which generally are suppressed by our media. Rather than articles of Putin thought this and Putin intends that, this is a presentation of his answers without media telepathy.
The only thing I saw in the transcript that might be orchestrated was pushing buttons about Russians believe marriage is between a man and a woman and men are men and women are women. That would be red meat to our MSM.
Note also that there were not many Ukraine questions. I somewhat suspected this. Russia is not hyper focused on it.
