The Department of Education Office for Civil Rights has opened an investigation into Indiana University over its alleged failure to respond to anti-Semitism on campus.

The complaint, filed by Campus Reform Editor-in-Chief Dr. Zachary Marschall, alleges that the Bloomington, Indiana institution hasn’t properly responded to anti-Semitism on campus, leaving Jewish students “afraid to speak up.”

After the October 7, 2023, terrorist attack carried out by Hamas, several pro-Palestinian protests were held at the Indiana University campus.

At one of the protests, according to a post on X, people chanted “From the River to the sea, Palestine will be free,” ...

One of the protesters wrote in a post on Facebook: “My heart is with the Palestinians and my wrath for the Zionists.”

On October 29, 2023, the university’s Palestine Solidarity Committee organized a rally in support of a ceasefire.

“The mission, first and foremost, is to show our support for the people of Palestine, people of Gaza, as they’re under attack by the Israeli occupation, and to educate people the best we can about what’s going on and counter the endless flood of the one side that you normally see in American press,” IU PSC founder Bryce Greene said at the event,

The Department of Education Office for Civil Rights opened the investigation on Monday.

According to the complaint, the PSC is eligible to receive funding from the university.

“…afraid to speak up.”

Being a pussy is an individual’s problem.
Free speech is free speech.

Anti-white racism is not merely a protest chant. It's actually part of the curriculum in many classes.

But no investigations into that.

So what do they expect the university to do, shut down free speech so the Jewish students feel more comfortable?

I gotta agree.

Having your feelings hurt doesn't warrant government restrictions on speech.

I wonder if any of the faculty teaching those anti white classes are Jewish?

The solution to bad speech is more good speech.

Correct.

That anyone here(not you) is surprised by what is occurring here hasn’t been paying attention.
When you import 3rd world people, you get 3rd world problems.
Hate speech merely pushes conversations to “back rooms” until they grow beyond the capacity of the room.

The peace treaty between Israel and Egypt restricts the number of troops allowed in the Philadelphi Corridor and Sisi is adamantly against Israel bringing in any more troops to that area for fear that that would push the Palestinians into the Sinai. If Israel goes ahead anyway Egypt could nullify that treaty and send troops of their own there to confront the IDF opening up another war front Israel would have to fight against. This at a time when they are about to engage Hezbollah in the north. How many fronts can Israel handle?
