One middle school in the district actually held a workshop titled, “Columbus: Hero or Villain?”Public schools: Competent educators or Commies Indoctrination Centers?

One middle school in the district actually held a workshop titled, “Columbus: Hero or Villain?”Should have called the workshop, "Columbus: the guy who so changed the world that, aside from a few isolated tribes, and maybe not even them, no one around today would be alive if he didn't exist. Yeah somebody else would have eventually found the New World, but you still wouldn't be here."
Too wordy?
