NBC News Accidentally Undermines Media's 'Trump as Dictator' Narrative
Newsbusters ^ | January 16, 2024 | P.J. Gladnick

Recently there has been an ever increasing drumbeat from the media for a narrative portraying that Donald Trump would be a dangerous dictator if he returned to the White House in 2025, despite not becoming one during his first term. Further undermining the media's "Trump as dictator" narrative was an NBC News article on Monday that presents plans by liberals both in and out of government to curtail "dictator" Trump's power by using the law to thwart him, and hyped a Collusion Hoax peddler as the standard-bearer for that effort.

The FIVE writers NBC crammbed into the article, Peter Nicholas, Katherine Doyle, Megan Lebowitz and Courtney Kube, plow forward trying to convince readers that a dangerous dictator can be constrained by mere law in "Fears grow that Trump will use the military in ‘dictatorial ways’ if he returns to the White House":

This is all nonsense of course. What they are REALLY afraid of is Trump actually wielding his LAWFUL powers.

Like firing Christopher Wray and all his deputies at 12:01. And ALL the senior military leadership. And ALL politically appointed officers.

They’ll call this dictatorial, because the President doesn’t have to get ANYBODY’S permission for such actions (for he will already have been granted permission by his superiors, the people).

I was thinking about the allegations in that “story”: supposedly a bunch of deep-staters are conspiring to undermine Trump in his second term by hijacking our Republic.
***
I don’t think that story came out by mistake, etc. I think those who control the media also collude to create messages and scenarios to get people to act/think certain ways.
A couple of more examples include global warming (errh, “climate change”) and Covid.

They also know that Trump will break up the ridiculous, completely-outmoded monopoly that is Washington, D.C. Quartering departments in logical places — Commerce in New York, say, Interior in Denver, Agriculture in Omaha, Treasury in Kentucky, etc. Moving those agencies closer to the people they serve, and econonomically-energizing their new locations. It is absolutely ludicrous here in 2024 that the federal government remains cloistered in a decaying and violence-prone city of 700,000 people.

You are assuming there is still gold in Ft. Knox. Goldfinger would be very surprised if he tried to break into Ft. Knox today.

“”Quartering departments in logical places — Commerce in New York, say, Interior in Denver, Agriculture in Omaha, Treasury in Kentucky, etc. “”

.

How about moving doj to Bogalusa, Louisiana?

Or perhaps move the fbi to Shubuta, Mississippi?

Heck, they could get a great deal on a local tar paper shack...

Would be nice. But that's not going go happen. Even if Trump wins. They'll just run out the clock on his administration. Four years isn't a long time.

If Trump gets the kind of support I think he's going to get -- the support of a vast majority of Americans who will be leaning, and I mean leaning on their Congresspeople to finally remember who they represent -- I think a lot can be done. Not just Republicans, but a whole bunch of Democrats and Independents, are completely fed up, and finally paying attention, as they were in Ronald Reagan's day.

Day one. Trump demands resignation letters from all TLA bureaucrats, to be reviewed and accepted or rejected as needed.

My firm belief and great fear is that all this “SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY FROM TRUMP THE GREAT DICTATOR” is paving the way for “patriotic” assassination by “heroes” of THE REPUBLIC in the name of “DEMOCRACY”(WHICH HAS BEEN APTLY DESCRIBED AS TWO WOLVES AND A SHEEP VOTING ON WHAT’S FOR LUNCH).

Anyone who thinks that dem/lib/marxist/commies are above murder are not merely naive, but delusional beyond the comprehension of a normal mind. They have no more contact with reality than they have with the moon.

May G-D help us, they are laying the groundwork for the Ides
of March, the modern day assassination of Caesar. I am neither the first nor only person to see, and fear this.

His enemies are too numerous to see and count, distributed all over the world, with essentially limitless assets, completely ruthless and finely focused on killing him. Many in America. Many in Washington, D.C.

MAY G-D PROTECT PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!

Which is deceptive (it would be delusional if they actually feared this) absurdity. Since the Left overall controls : Major and most minor Mass Media;

Education - from nursery to universities;

The Judiciary;

The Military;

Hospitals;

Major and most minor Corporations;

then what conservative could be a dictator as it is now?

Imagine forcing the deep state to live by the law and firing those who flaunt the Constitutional and legislative constraints on their power. DC real estate would be a bligh of unsaleable properties with roaming gangs of homelss out of work white metrosexuals who have no skills to get real employment and refuse any remedial training that is not DEI oriented.

> I am neither the first nor only person to see, and fear this.

After 2020 I said to friends, "If Trump runs again in 2024, they'll try to kill him."

Later when he announced that he was running in 2024, I said, "I fear that now they're going to try to kill him" and I posted comments to that effect in FR at the time.

Now that he's clearly the candidate and has a good chance at re-election, I am confident that there will be one or more serious attempts on his life prior to election, or shortly after if he wins.

If he lives until Jan 20, then he will have four years of continuous attempts on his life. No President has ever had to withstand that kind of assault.

I am extremely concerned for his safety and health -- firearms are one thing, but poisoning and "unfortunate accidents" are not unheard of either.

Politically, we have become a third-world country.

Even more depressing is the realization that, since the history books will be written (as now they are being re-written) by the socialist Left, an assassination of Donald Trump will be described in positive terms, "Saving Democracy From Dictatorship" and so forth.

The greatest challenge to the Cloward-Piven Strategy and Barack Obama's promised "Fundamental Transformation" of America, will have been killed.

The most heinous crime of the 21st century, one that destroyed all remaining hope of resurrecting America, will instead be viewed by historians as a blessing.
