SC Establishment Bringing Nancy Pelosi-Like Rules to SC
South Carolina Freedom Caucus ^ | January 9, 2024 | Unattributed

Dear Fellow Conservatives,

If you thought the incumbent protection pledge was bad, you won't believe what the RINOs are trying to do now.

For those who don't know, the moderate establishment kicked out the 16 most conservative members of the Republican Caucus for refusing to sign a soviet-style loyalty pledge.

Listen to Glenn Beck discuss the issue HERE.

The pledge sought to silence members of the SC Freedom Caucus by prohibiting us from posting photos of the public voting board, endorsing more conservative challengers, or informing the citizens about how members of the House break their campaign promises.

Now that we're back in session, it seems the swamp is back to their old tricks of trying to muzzle conservatives and taking a page right out of Nancy Pelosi's playbook.

Our sources tell us that members of the RINO Caucus just met to discuss Nancy Pelosi-like rule changes that would effectively neuter conservatives' ability to offer amendments to legislation. We're told the new rules will consolidate power with the majority and minority leaders to hand select what amendments are heard and which are tossed out.

This is eerily similar to the way Congress operated under Nancy Pelosi, where only a handful of selected amendments were allowed to be heard, effectively preventing debate and silencing conservatives.

Read FitsNews' coverage of these troubling developments HERE.

This unprecedented seizure of power, that is being heard tomorrow in the Rules Committee, is the antithesis of a democratic system. Liberals are trying to kick President Trump off the ballot and take the right to vote away from patriots across America. And right here in SC, the same "Republicans" that provided corporate welfare to Biden's electric vehicle agenda are trying to take away a duly elected representative's ability to advocate for their constituents.

It's hard to believe, but this means the deep state is working to give more power to liberal Democrats and less ability to legislate to conservative members. It's no wonder why the South Carolina General Assembly is consistently ranked the most liberal Republican-controlled legislature in America year after year by the American Conservative Union.

If this rule passes, millions of South Carolina's will have their voices stripped and the entire legislative process will be controlled by 3 people - the Speaker of the House, the majority leader, and the minority leader.

Help us stop this potential rule change by doing 2 things:

1) Call and email the members of the Rules Committee and tell them NO rule changes unless it decentralizes power, not consolidates it.

The only loyalty oath any politician should take is to the US Constitution.

At the state level, I would expect them to abide by their state Constitutions, but only if it was in compliance with the US Constitution. I'm not too sure about some of those blue state Constituions anymore.

The South Carolina GOP. The party of BMW, Michelin, Volvo, Mercedes, Nestle’, Samsung, and Boeing. But I guess that beats chopping cotton and picking peaches, and cleaning beach hotel rooms.

The South Carolina Republican Party is more akin to the Democrat Lite party. They all prattle on and talk about how conservative and bad they are but they leave the primaries open for their good leftist friend Linda Graham and they vote like fledgling liberals.

The SC GOP needs an enema...

Pretty damning indictment of just how liberal most Republican parties are at the state level.

The Republican party is a left of center party at this point on everything but taxes.

We have the Democrats/Communists radically left and the left of center Republicans. Where is the choice for the voters?

Reagan once said when you offer no real choice your voters will eventually say why bother. We are there...
