Within a day, a Democrat legislator Samantha Skorka was pictured kissing the display. Her tweet mocked Christians: “In the name of Satan, I claim the sexy satanic baphomet goat altar at OUR Michigan Capitol. Amen.”
Now nine legislators sent a letter to the Michigan Capitol Commission, which oversees the Capitol grounds, protesting the permission granted to Satanists to use the grounds. All nine legislators are Republicans, and the protest letter was led by Rep. Neil Friske (R). There are 54 Republicans in the Michigan House, so 45 of them refused to sign onto Rep. Friske’s letter.

Just another example on why and how Michigan lost both the state house and the state senate for the first time in decades. No, the rats did not win because they were better and more popular it was because the state MI GOPe sucks and has for years, many conservatives aren’t voting for the lesser of evils anymore as it race to the bottom in quicksand. I live in one and am glad this trend is happening all over the country. The GOPe has done more damage to this country than the rats ever will, JMO.
Our government is simply begging for the judgment of God to fall on them and us.

I would hope that the punishment would laser in in the guilty. There are many Christ followers in Michigan who do not deserve to be punished.

How many of these "believers" have forfeited their own duty by not voting, or campaigning, or writing their elected officers for God-fearing representatives to productively occupy office and effectively guide the school boards, pulpits, and public agencies?
God can and will hear prayers from coequally-suffering grieved individuals, and perhaps see that a sincere prayerful appeal may bring relief to His Own meek child, apart from the majority of both deliberate offenders and "luke-warm" professing (but not practicing) "believers."
Why would you think God would behave differently in Michigan than He has in all recorded history of governments? Read your Bible on Israel's challenges, as one example of how He deals with mankind. Or Noah's biography, for instance. Or the Exodus and its Passover.

After decades of getting the Charlie Brown treatment by the GOP, in 2016 I stopped voting in congressional elections.
As for the presidential election I’ll vote for Trump and no one else.
Our republic will not end in a police state with my participation.
