BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Sounding the alarm on an uptick in juvenile crime, some Baltimore City residents are demanding lawmakers take action this upcoming session.
Claiming young offenders are putting residents on edge and at risk, in a letter sent to Delegate Luke Clippinger, the association wrote, “We are deeply troubled by the surge in juvenile crime, specifically an increase in homicides, non-fatal shootings, armed carjackings, and car thefts within our district and across Baltimore.”
The letter went on to demand tangible changes to the juvenile justice system, including:
* The charging process for juveniles
* Amendments to probation periods for cases involving illegal firearms and felony offenses
* Revisions around competency commitments
* Increased transparency around the juvenile home monitoring system
* Changes to restrictions on police interrogation of juveniles.
The letter echoes calls and concerns also being shared by police and prosecutors.
“There’s nothing the law will allow us to do to hold them accountable. They are doing whatever they want,” says Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates.
“They come in, we can’t detain them, they are back in the community the next day,” said Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy.

When did THAT happen?
It’s interesting and quite amusing how euphemisms they use to hide reality end up fairly quickly to be used to describe that reality.
So the propagandists want to hide key traits of perps, especially the race, so they just refer to them like “juveniles”, but most people are not as stupid as they think, so when they see the word “juvenile” or “teen” or “youths” the picture that immediately jumps in their minds is “young black thugs”

Locking up their parents for not parenting would be a better idea.
Yep....by this time it’s a vicious circle
No legislation needed, just put them in jail and keep them there and presto, the crime rate goes down.

Obviously 100% of people on FR know that. All the people in inner cities know that (”Hey, they wrote about US!!”).
But I wonder how many people in the thoroughly brainwashed population at large think that.
What these kids need is more parental action rather than more legislative action.
They know it too. But it causes them pain having to admit it, because it goes against one of their more fervid beliefs - that all races are on average the same.
So they look for some “oppressor” to blame.
Long past time to bring back the whipping post.
