Good Afternoon,

Glad to hear that Mrs. AG is back; those are never fun...

Yes, I agree that Thundershirts work very well... we used to have a larger dog that was like night and day wearing the Thundershirt vs. not...

I can’t recommend anything better. Unless it would be a flexible carrier that’s about three sizes too small!

THAT is a face to love!

Good morning. I hope you had a good night, and that Jake was patient.

I have the procedure this morning, and part of me doesn’t want to go through with it and the rest of me wants it to happen so I can get results fast.

I had some spasms in my sacro-area yesterday that let me know the procedure needs to be done last year, but here I am. Finally.

It will be a good day when it’s done so I can at least look forward to improvement.

Good luck on your procedure! I drank too much lemonade to have a truly restful night, but I feel pretty good this morning anyway. We’ll go to the library after a while. Jake seems to have gone back to bed after making a mess in his gooshy fud.

It rained a little over night, just enough to be drippy.

I’m sorry about the lemonade, though I can certainly understand why you would drink it. I used to make it a lot when the kids were home. Not so much when they all left.

Nor have I been to the library since I got back, but that’s because I got streaming TV and haven’t needed it. I’m looking forward to changing companies when InfoWest gets their new tower up. It will cut my bill in half, according to their advertising.

Chip’s appetite is picking up, and that’s a relief. He was only eating less than a quarter of a can of wet food but about half of his dry food and last night it was a half can of wet and almost all of his dry.

No rain, here! Sunny skies again today with a high of 80°!

Like humans, a day or two of less food won’t hurt a cat.

I think he went three days, but humans can do that, too. I used to fast my animals once a month, back in the day. Still, if he’s too sick to eat, it’s better that he doesn’t.

And now, I need to go shower.

Good morning. Happy Humph Day!

We had some more rain yesterday but no thunder.

I put the Princess out about 4am this morning when she stirred. It was nice to see the apartment complex’s automatic sprinkler system watering the pond between this building and the next. I guess a smart system is too expensive.

It’s supposed to get up to 70 fs today. Not bad for May Day.

And then there’s this.

That’s good about no thunder.

Our sprinkler system has been going for a month, now. It’s as smart as the guy who programs it, but I don’t know how expensive he is.

Good job on the Wordle!

I didn’t get the procedure done. They forgot to tell me not to take aspirin, and I take it every night, and have since I was in my 30s. So it’s been postponed to Monday afternoon, with no aspirin in the meantime.

I’m still fighting with the insurance company about Nitro spray. They MIGHT authorize the sublingual tablets, but they’re fighting the spray. If I get it, right now, it’s $245 without their authorization. I’ve been on the spray since it first came out I don’t know how many years ago and this is the first time I’ve had to fight for it.

The pharmacy says they don’t even know if the insurance company will authorize the tablets, even though I’m out of Nitroglycerin.

The one thing that keeps going through my head is the phrase the little Mexican woman used to say to me every time she saw me: “Don’t get old, Mija!”
