A feral dog can be dangerous. That much is true. The humane thing to do is catch them using traps then try to rehabilitate them. It’s not their fault they had to become feral to survive. In the end some will have to be put down but hopefully most will not.

You don’t know much about dogs or feral dogs to suggest they be killed out of hand. I can understand a rancher doing that when they go after the livestock but not city dogs. City dogs look for food in the trash or from the kindness of strangers.

Something else is going on with these dogs at the dealership. Rabies maybe.

I know plenty about being charged by strays. It has happened three or four times to me since 2020. I should not feel the need to carry a pistol to protect myself from stray dogs. I have sympathy for the people they bite, not the dogs. There are 1000s of strays here. Many of them are increasing vicious and dangerous. They are not an endangered species. Just euthanize them. It is the humane thing to do.
