If this were an episode of Twilight Zone, he would begin to order the magpies to destroy his competitors crops, then to kill his enemies, and they would eventually turn on him to kill him or maybe peck out his eyes.
Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits
Now there are some great shows. The Outer Limits had Demon With the Glass Hand, and, of course, The Inheritors. The Inheritors is the only two-episode story. The story is incredible, and Robert Duvall plays a fantastic role in it.
