They can impeach him, but they won't be able to get a conviction.

However, subpoenas have gone out, and Mike Johnson will change his tune when those witnesses being subpoenaed bear fruit.

Not time to get worked up yet for goodness sakes.

I agree with you. Under the current conditions, where no Democrat senator or congressman will declare to vote for impeachment or conviction, the best path forward is to let the evidence come out gradually.

I don’t expect the partisan networks to cover it at this stage, but when placed under oath there’s going to be a lot to explain. Joe sure loaned out a of cash from his brother - it must have been cash, because there’s no bank records of it. How did Joe come upon this pile of money to loan?

Delusional. Just admit the Republicans a cowards and will always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Republicans are Democrat’s lapdog.

Now the MSM has permission to bury the story. Nothing to see here. The GOP said do.

Agree. I think MTG was badly embarrassed by McCarthy getting ousted after she had backed him - she might be seeing this as an opportunity to save face.

There are also some other dynamics to consider: if the Biden crime family story goes mainstream now, the DNC has plenty of time to throw Biden under the bus and run Newsome. Wouldn’t it be wise to hold our fire until next summer?

Also, there is a risk that voters may get turned off by impeachments, regardless of which party does it or whether or not the impeachment is deserved. History shows that impeachments don’t hurt a President’s chances of winning re-election - maybe they even help.

I agree, they could do it now or wait until they have indisputable evidence.

The other question is timing. Right now Biden is a dead albatross hanging around the dems neck. Why help remove him at this time? The dems could replace him with someone with a better chance to win.

Exactly. Impeachments are political trials with legal trappings. Conviction in a political trial relies not on a preponderance of evidence but in numerical superiority of voting senators. And dhimmicrats NEVER hold their own accountable.

Johnson wisely knows that impeachment is a pointless exercise until and unless we regain control of both houses (rendering the exercise moot).

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

They couldn’t get a conviction with Pres Trump but they did it anyway. Biden isn’t going to be thr nominee anyway. And Newsome is an absolute disaster.
