One of my best friends growing up had a horse and it got loose and was killed by a car. Friend was devastated for a long time.
That reminded me of a news report I saw long ago on a local telescreen channel. A woman had lost her beloved horse, maybe it was hit by a car, that I don’t remember. But she was in tears and the reporter wanted to interview her. She wanted no part of that, and she ran away off into a field, and the scumbag reporter actually chased after her trying to get the interview.
I was sick and angry at what he did. I hope he got fired, but I doubt it.
