So I recently retired from the air force and I'm just looking to keep busy and keep my brain learning.
I created a mobile game that you can try on itcho.io. I'll soon be releasing it on the app stores (iphone and android). I'd love your feedback on what you think.
Is the music for each mode appropriate? Is it fun? Are the modes distinct and interesting enough to try each one?

I got ~15000 points in casual mode.
I have no idea what the goal is.
The music, veggies, player/missile graphics, and bag seem good, but it is unclear what makes veggies “pop” and disappear and if I want that to happen. Your green pumpkins should be called butternut squashes or chayotes.
I don’t get what gets you to a bigger pumpkin, but garlics and peppers seem to make occasional zucchinis. Some combination makes an ear of corn, but that goes away, too.
In sum, I just don’t understand just about everything about the game, but it’s pleasant, even though veggies pop like bubbles and the bag never seems to fill.
First goal is to get to a pumpkin. 2nd goal is to get to a giant pumpkin.
Those are supposed to be green peppers, but you’re the second person to call them green pumpkins. Which is understandable as kabocha are greenish orange japanese pumpkins.
great feedback. I was assuming everyone understood the “watermelon game” so your feedback is critical to me in providing better direction.
Basically if you combine two veggies of the same time they form the next veggie in the chain (as seen on the graphic to the right with the arrow pointing down).
Overall goal is to get at least one pumpkin, bonus goal is two pumpkins combining.

almost 30k in casual. I had a couple of instances where like kinds hit, but it was in the middle of a bunch of other “transitions” happening, and this particular transition was “missed”. (I had 2 garlics hit and rebound from each other, and not join).
Also, this might violate the purity of the gameplay, but I had “3 peppers” hit a couple of times, and the fact that it only joined 2 of them was kind of a bummer.
Overall though? VERY FUN! Simple to understand, and fun to play. At about 10k points I thought “MAN this music is repetitive!” by 25k points I was whistling it.

The music is appropriate. The goal needs to be clearer.
Also, do you just use the back arrow to exit the game or is there another way.

I have found it to be very entertaining. Well done. I have garnered the eggplants, but no further. I could play forever if possible... it seems to time out...

For players from Maryland there will need to be a 5 cent charge per bag for those who choose plastic.
I just changed scoring mode on casual. Now it only tracks the # of pumpkins you make.
Challenge mode has the standard scoring, but if a veggie falls out of the bag it’s game over.
