Just turn off the electrical disconnect. Why do you need all this other equipment? The Internet that used to turn off and turn off the Wi-Fi needs to have elec power.
Problem is. When they got home they found out their Tesla exploded inside their garage and burned the house down.
I’ve left church to go home to see if I turned off the iron. I’d just wait it out if we didn’t have cats that could jump up and knock things over. Than I bought some little cubes from Amazon where you can choose the outlet to be live in increments of 15, 30, 60 minutes. I always choose 30. One for the iron. One for the curling iron.
Well, for many, it seems that would be too easy. They need to go through multiple steps to shut down things.🤣
Interesting solution. They’re called cubes?
I call them cubes. I’ll see if I can find the link for you.
It’s called a countdown timer:
I use an old school method. Sticky note reminders.
Grocery list. When I’m in the frozen section looking at the ice cream selection, I can confirm if I need to restock, and not repeat the last flavor.
The answer is always “yes”, but I like to be sure.
Thank you!
i use my cell phone to read small print
“Smartphones are great. I take pictures of things I disassemble as I do it, so I can reassemble them when done repairing”
Me too. Also taking pictures of the model and serial number tags on equipment instead of rotating to remember it and write it down...
I have them as stocking stuffers one year, and they were appreciated. It’s interesting to realize how useful they are for many things.
