Any time a politician (or pretty much anyone else) uses this tired, overused phrase, it is an attempt to establish the wisdom and thoughtfulness of their statement. In reality, it is an attempt to conceal their utter dishonesty.

Right. He made these crises. Most Presidents lack his particular combination of stupidity, avarice, incompetence, thin skin, amorality, and aggressiveness to create such an environment, only Joe.

The ‘problem’ in discouraging his having an interview - any interview - is that he’s that way (forgetful, senile coupled with his lying nature).
He is categorically unfit to be a sitting President because his mental and physical faculties are painfully evident. The mind is gone. Whoever is handling and directing him and his policies absolutely love it. That’s why they’re still thinking they’ll try and foist him off on us again with another cheated election.
His handlers love this situation because they have all the power of the Presidency without any accountability.
