Oh, and this was definitely (IMHO) a dry-run for what’s coming here when the Chinese invade Taiwan. All those thousands of military-aged males who have no families, who are dressed identically, have the same haircuts, clothing and backpacks are the furthest thing from legit refugees there is. Additionally, you don’t get out of China unless the authorities want you to get out - so these people have been sent for a definite purpose...one that, at least to me, became crystal clear on Saturday morning.

I think the gun ownership problem, as viewed by their government, is that they can’t allow ALL citizens to own/carry when a large percentage of citizens are untrusted non-jewish, and they can’t legally restrict ownership to only Jews.

You clearly haven’t spent much time in the American South, have you? I’m in south Texas, and while people aren’t walking around with the stereotypical spurs and six-shooters, a large percentage of the population IS armed, some 24/7, and the shooting ranges (and we have MANY of them) are always filled to the gills with people shooting their ARs, or their scoped deer rifles that shoot minute of terrorist at 500 yards.

That’s for certain - and it is far from a new problem. Israel’s founders were largely refugees from Czarist Russia, and they tended to be Socialist or outright Communist. They largely ruled Israel until Menachem Begin came to power in the mid-’70s, and still hold enormous influence. Sad, because Socialism and all of its sister, collectivist, ideologies (including Fascism and Nazism) have done nothing but victimize Jews. Somehow or other, many of my co-religionists (who are generally noted for being on the right side of the IQ charts) have mental retardation when it comes to political and self-defense matters.

Perhaps this situation, which has a LONG way to go until it is over, will have the Israeli public forcing their government to move closer to the Swiss or American models of individuals being armed for their own and their nation’s self defense.

Israeli citizens, IF the government approves their application to own a gun, are allowed just that: *A* gun, and specifically a handgun, and can own no more than 50 rounds of ammo. They’re allowed to buy any amount for practice at their range, but can’t bring any home with them.

I hope and pray that their citizenry will wake up and force the government to change the rules so that they can own pretty much whatever they want, and unlimited ammo. With the training that they population has, no invader would stand a chance against such a militia.

The question now should be: how are you going to defend from what is coming? Military age males have been infiltrating our border by the thousands. An Uber driver recently reported that he had a black foreign male as a rider recently, and when he asked the guy what sort of work he did, he replied that he was a soldier for the UN. They are here. They have been given phones, debit cards that are loaded monthly with our tax dollars, and are told what city to go to once they get in, and to find a place to live. Most of them are in hotels. Then they are told to await further instructions that will arrive on the cell phones they were given.

This is not external infiltration…it is internal using outside forces. And a lot of people are starting to suspect the same thing happened in Israel. People on the inside had to know this was coming.

But if you look at that video, that is suburban type housing where the range is on the order of 50 to 100 yards.

That’s what the AK and AR was primarily designed for.

I wonder if it is something to do with the demographics of Israel. Do the 20% arab Israeli citizens commit a lot of gun crime? Or would they if they were better armed? Holy cow they are surrounded by enemies who regularly demonstrate they would LOVE to wipe them off the map.
