Get both knees with bone-on-bone contact pain and you’re not going to ‘stride’ anywhere.
I've had bone-on-bone for years, and have contended with chronic pain all that time. About a year and a half ago, I fractured the tip of the tibia on the right knee after carrying my old iMac down to the car. I got it down the stairs, and into the car without any problem, but when I leaned into the car, to push it farther onto the seat, my knee gave out, and I had a searing pain from my hip down to my foot. I've given birth to two sons, one without anything, had a perforated bowel, a temporary colostomy, reversal, a hernia repair, and open surgery to have my gall bladder removed, and the pain when the knee gave out was the worst I've ever experienced. Had to wear a full-leg knee restraint for six weeks, and every night to bed. What a pain in the arse...literally, because it was so heavy, that I ended up with pain in my right hip from having to lift the damn thing.
