In an effort to make this thread somewhat useful (and for those who might be interested):
I’ve recently seen a biopic and a number of documentaries about Maria Altmann, a Jewish lady who escaped the Holocaust, and her efforts to regain her family’s art treasures which were stolen by the Nazis.
It’s a fascinating story of human determination, dedication, and the final triumph of right over wrong.

When I was a young teenager and learning about the Holocaust, I couldn’t understand why one of the most civilized and educated countries would succumb to Nazism.
But now I see my own country going absolutely crazy, and I guess I’m starting to understand how it happens.

"Popular?" As conspiracy theories go, that one can't be very serious, very credible, or very widely believed. There's a movie about Nazis going to the moon after the war ended. I hope it's a comedy, farce, or satire.

It is as a “contributor” needed to produce an article to a certain length and got his computer to assemble it half -assedly. I take any bit of information in that sort of article with a large pinch of salt. He may have been inspired by the original “door on Mars” excitement and just transferred it to Antarctica.
