Failure
Successes are the time for celebrations.
Failures are the time for a million very persuasive excuses.
I think he knew exactly, which is why he consented to run in the first place. A naïve person would have been out before they even got started. People seem to forget that he was a developer/entrepreneur in NYC and Atlantic City, and married a model who saw the insides of that world. It was no secret when I was young in the 70s that modeling agencies were call girl prep schools. They well know the score and what they’re battling.
