Ivermectin was supposed to be coupled with Zinc as a catalyst for making the zinc better absorbed and more effective. Quercetin was an alternative to the ivermectin that was promoted.

Hydroxychloroquine was supposed to be coupled with Zinc as a catalyst for making the zinc better absorbed and more effective. Quercetin was an alternative to the Hydroxychloroquine that was promoted. Ivermectin works somewhat differently. Both work.
