Interesting theory. I’m not into ‘country music’ but I’ve heard, more than once, that the industry has submitted to leftism. I’d be quicker to believe some woketards at CMT did just want it banned.
That said, it could be a genius move, I never knew who this guy was and would probably never have heard the song. Glad I did. It certainly provided an uncountable amount of free exposure.
