Sound of Freedom (Movie Review)
MSMB ^ | July 19, 2023 | Rob W. Case

How far would you go to act on a principle or conviction that moves you? To what lengths would you sacrifice your financial security, well-being, and status to save other people’s lives? To what extent would you go beyond these things and risk your life in areas entrenched in life-threatening danger, knowing that you may never see your family again? Such is the story of Tim Ballard, in his quest to bust an international child trafficking ring.

The Story:

The movie begins with Homeland Security Special Investigations operative Tim Ballard (Jim Caveziel), whose career in breaking up child pornography and sex trafficking rings takes on a new challenge. A father’s two children, Miguel (Lucas Avila) and Rocio (Cristal Aparicio) are kidnapped and sold into sex slavery, along with a bunch of other children, by a syndicate in South America. Miguel, who is marketed as “teddy bear”, is rented to an upper middle-aged man for sexual services. Ballard’s research and resources at the Department of Homeland Security pin down the man who has Miguel in his custody, and Miguel is rescued. The problem that lies is that no one knows where his sister Rocio is.

It was a very good movie.

It dealt very well with a very difficult subject.

I agree it’s encouraging, but until we stop electing, a pedophile is our president. No one is gonna think we’re serious about child trafficking.

I did not elect a pedophile as my President. I voted for President Trump. I hope the 81 million who voted for Biden are happy with the son of a female dog. They got what they voted for. They got their money’s worth. And the good part is that he is not finished with them.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the movie, tho not sure why. It is a story well told, and the cinematic presentation was excellent. It stands on its own as a film without having to rely on sentimentality to carry it.

A true “grown-up” film, yet safe for teen-age children.

Do not disparage female dogs. Biden is a paedophile, a pervert, a criminal, a moron, and all around shitbag. The use of the last term is neither crude nor cursing when describing President Caligula. It is simply appropriate.

SOF per screen ticket sales are now equal to Mission Impossible 9, something nobody would have ever predicted. MI9 is playing in more theaters, but SOF is doing gangbuster business.

Went to see it yesterday. Theater was packed and there was almost an uncomfortable silence as the story played out. It was the first time in a long time where the audience actually applauded as the closing credits rolled.

It is a very powerful film that Hollywood wants to bury. I am hopeful there may be change in the air. The depravity of the left is being outed for all to see. There is no way the left can justify their “minor attracted person” as nothing more than pedophilia. Try and justify “drag queen story hours” after watching this film. It can’t be done.

An excellent film..terrific acting and production.
Dealt with a difficult subject perfectly.

Biden is The Biggest Sex trafficker. Children are not vetted at the border.

Sick of hearing blacks yammering about slavery when slavery is going on now with sex trafficking

Rated PG-This is an incredible story that covers the grim subject of child sex trafficking without being graphic.

Well worth the time to see it.

Two movies that have similar themes of rescue are Schindler's List, and Hotel Rwanda.

We are trying to get our 17 y/o daughter to go see it with us instead of “Barbie”.

That’s an excellent way to put it. The way it made me feel was the way the movie “Unplanned” made me feel. It better than I expected, had a great story, and was intriguing, dramatic, and powerfully effective. This movie did the same thing.
