It must have been late in the evening and the bottle was almost empty. He got progressively nastier as the night went on. Maybe he’s a stroke victim who can’t filter himself, like Sophia on Golden Girls.
There is one especially bad one, posting multiple excerpts many times a day. I have gone to find the original article a number of times and posted it in its entirety.
That’s what prompted this vanity, I had a FReepmail from her saying that she was doing this to help somebody named Linda(’s) mission. I believe she implied I was hurting “the mission” by posting the original articles.
If people “around the world” are so enamored of Linda’s rip-off blog they don’t need free advertising on Free Republic.
Go get your own sponsors, Linda.

An acquaintance of mine is a Methodist pastor. His church just recently voted to leave the apostate branch of the Methodist church.
i never had a run in with him but i have certainly read his posts.
He’ll be back.
PS I read once (!!) a freeper female describe him as “charming” and she was serious,lol.
He made lots of nasty comments to lots of people over the years, most of it undeserved. I often wondered how many were driven away from donating or even participating in this site due to his hostility and fits of venom.

Those who only post a couple of very few sentences from sources that you can post 300 words from, and esp. if their own blog, and even lazily just post whatever they see at the top of an article, including peripheral invites to FB etc., are not helping FR to be the overall best general conservative news aggregator. See An exhortation to those who post thread (normally post as much of the meat of the article as allowed, describe videos, etc.)

Well, I don’t really want to be. But the point is, if Blog Pimping is now OK, I have a few ideas for blogs of my own to pimp. I’ve even started building a website to host them.
Definitely woven into the very fabric of FR. I also hope he’s OK.
Posting material as your own writing or reporting and making advert $ is the problem.
