I’ve been here a long time and it started with the “Bushbots”. From 1999 to 2007 you could utter an unkind word about the GWB family. During that same time we also had a number of Cheney Chicks who got vapors just thinking about Dick Cheney.
Now it’s trumpistas.
And the jingoists who were all in on Daddy Bush’s stupid attack on Iraq. And the Patriot Act Homies. If you weren’t all in on those things you were called a “traitor”. Never mind that very few of the loud mouths have ever worn a uniform.
And now we have the keyboard warriors Zeebots. All willing to fight to the last Ukrainian and all the OPM they can spend.
The Bush stuff was funny though. Even Rush tied himself in knots trying to assign conservative excuses for Dubya’s socialism. It took a couple of years before Rush finally quit making excuses for him.
May as well enjoy it. It will never change. There’s much virtue signaling to be had from an anonymous keyboard.
