His love songs generally were about losing it, but he had a few positive ones(cotton jenny, fine as fine can be, I’ll prove my love, Beautiful, If you need me). He had songs about Canada growth(Canadian railroad trilogy,
Crossroads)....I would recommend you check ‘em out.
His songs run the gamut of human experiences. Very impressive body of work. Good luck finding those songs.
He has, IMHO, a few songs I don’t like too much....but very few...
