I don’t understand this one, simple, obvious fact.
Politicians make lots (!) more (!) money in office than their salaries. Obviously, they get kickbacks in exchange for policy decisions and votes.
It’s like there’s just a general acceptance of this obvious problem.
Did Trump leave office with more worth than he started? I think not.
American politicians…and many high level bureaucrats…become ridiculously, obscenely wealthy by selling out the American people. Mostly to foreign powers but also to big money interests internally.
This is the #1 reason that this country is terminally corrupt…and frankly is the worst, most detestable, most destructive and perverse government on Earth.
It is time for the United States government to cease to exist, in any manner that can be accomplished. It is now fascist. And this is basically the beginning of the reasons why that is now necessary.
