Carl Icahn shorted the commercial mortgage market back before COVID. Haven't heard if he has closed that position or is still holding.

Note of caution to Carl, if Carnival Cruise Line can come back strong, so can commercial real estate. You might want to close out now before companies follow Musk and start bringing workers back to the office.

I am not so sure. I was laid off last year, and in my job hunt I am seeing remote work as I have never seen before. In IT, it allows some employers to be a lot fussier in expected skill set since there is an entire country available for the job.
