The recent response by Meatball regarding a possible Trump indictment
by Alvin Bragg has all the hallmarks of a Bushite response.
If I had only read the remarks not knowing who said them, I would have
have said the response came from the Bush wing of the party.
In 2018, Meatball would not have made these types of remarks.
DeSantis really blew a chance to stand out as a leader in that situation. You don’t have to support Trump to come out and strongly denounce the political persecution taking place. If he gets elected he will be the next president in their cross hairs. I really think he could have taken a cut out of Trump’s support, instead he came off like a go-along to get-along establishment squish.
