Last summer we saw the fingerprints of the professional republican apparatus all over the construct that was creating the Ron DeSantis 2024 effort. The data was all going in one direction, all of the constructs were identical to the Karl Rove playbook with the single addition of the Republican Governor’s Association as a participant. As the months moved forward the Rovian elements became more and more clear. The DeSantis supporters tried to deny it, but the truth of the issue is just too obvious.
Now, insider republican political consultant Mark Simone admits that Team Bush and Karl Rove are the specific organizers of the DeSantis 2024 effort. Appearing on Fox Business, Larry Kudlow asks directly, “who is behind the DeSantis campaign?” Simone admits, “yeah, it’s Karl Rove – Karl Rove has been advising DeSantis, that’s why he’s been getting a little bit better every week.”

Anticipate a formal 2024 campaign announcement within the next two weeks. The RdS team goal is not for DeSantis to win, the goal is to stop Trump from winning.

Very dissappointing. I genuinely like DeSantis. I genuineky distrusrt anything and anyone associated with tge Bush Deep State cabal.
Simone specifically mentions GW, Jeb and Karl. So he's not really talking about some of the other folks on the Bush "team" who may or may not be good.
DeSantis really blew a chance to stand out as a leader in that situation. You don’t have to support Trump to come out and strongly denounce the political persecution taking place. If he gets elected he will be the next president in their cross hairs. I really think he could have taken a cut out of Trump’s support, instead he came off like a go-along to get-along establishment squish.
I was always a little suspect of the guy because he’s a lawyer. Now he definitely isn’t getting my vote. Looks like four more years of Pedo Joe.
Deep State will fall in behind DeSantis to stop Trump—the Media/Hollywood/FBI/ Soros will fund and do all they can to get him rather than Trump. Then, when Trump is put down, they will turn on DeSantis and put their woman in as President/Puppet to do their bidding. Watch, I think I am right on this one.

The point is: a pro-Trump radio personality is hardly in a position to “admit” anything for the Desanctis campaign. All this sort of claim does is piss off Republican voters who the Trump campaign will need to have in their camp by November.

I know nothing about Simone except for the comments here. As for DeSantis, a true conservative would not except the backing from Bush and Rove.
Lol. Basically, you are saying we should believe any accusation the left throws out, not matter how unlikely. Meanwhile, Trump hung out with the Clinton’s, stuffed his White House with RINOs, endorsed Romney and his ilk.
DeSantis sounds like he wants to be president so bad that he will sell his soul to anyone. That makes him a not starter for me, either in 2024 or 2028.

That said, Simone went right to the DeSantis/Rove network to say this. Both DeSantis and Rove can easily respond to the claims.
