The problem with this “digital currency” hysteria is that it fails to recognize that people will lose even MORE faith in the financial system as they become increasingly detached from it.

I see “Help Wanted” postings in my area for small businesses and fast food joints that offer to pay their staff at the end of every day in order to entice them to work.

These people aren’t going to be accepting any kind of “digital currency” to work. They’ll demand cash or hard goods in exchange for their labor — like, “I’ll work for two hours if you fill my car with gas, three more hours if you give me a week’s worth of groceries,” etc.

Yesterday at two separate business' both receptionists stated the problems they are having, like 4 month wait to see an ENT, or a month to see the Vet for an injured leg, are staffing problems.

Where are these workers going, how are they able to pay rent and food without a job? I have 21 tenants, not one has done this, they all have full time jobs and kept them through covid.
