The guy who’s pitching UN/WEF/Agenda 2030 smart cities, rebranded as “freedom cities” and has declared himself the “Father of” the Covid jabs really isn’t in a position to point fingers on much here.
Trump needs to return to 2016 candidate Trump. There are plenty of things to attack: Biden, China, Ukraine, Silicon Valley, Democrats, the Economy, the Border, etc. He shouldn’t be focusing on DeSantis, he is turning people off. I have no reason to be angry at DeSantis, he’s not even in the race, and has done plenty well in FL.
What a chump.
Trump is scared. He is showing weakness.
Nice.
I have no problem with Trump’s attacks on the little ingrate from Florida.
DeSantos can take the high road because his acolytes have been bashing the 45th President, almost daily, since before the midterms were finished.
The frequency & intensity of attacks on DeSantos are just starting, they’ll really “kick into gear” once DeSantos enters the primaries.
As much as I admire DeSantis, you can already see him being compromised by the usual suspects he is talking with to back a potential presidential campaign. Heck, even Jim Jordan has been neutered by contributions from the likes of Google. We don’t need more “controlled opposition”; we need a Mack truck who will run right over those who need to be run over, whether tyrannical dems or compromised Republicans.
Our country is in dire straits and going over a cliff from which we will never recover. This is not the time to worry about whose feelings are being hurt, and it’s not the time for half measures in the attempt to save it.
Vogel is ‘bird’ in German. “Song” is Lied.
I have been a faithful Trumper from the git-go...and this dismays me no end....and more so because all his speeches are like this...aimless, rambling and almost incoherent.
He needs a capable speech writer AND COACH.
Leni
The whole reason for Disney being given those things in the first place is because FL was behind the times, not up to par in certain areas of expertise for what Disney was doing.
I give you Spaceship Earth, built in 1982
It left FL quite clueless as to how or if this and the many other things Disney was doing could be permitted so for liability purposes, they said; Here, we'll give you full regulatory rights but also full liability over it. Have a city but sign this waiver first. It's you're baby now.
Well, now we all know what fear and desperation look like.
I didn’t see any of this in the bill
My entire lifetime, I’ve watched politicians sell themselves to the public as one thing, only later revealing that they were not who they said they were. We would all get excited about what the latest golden boy would promise and convince ourselves that, if we could only get him elected, things would be different.
In the past 12 years or so, I’ve seen Trey Gowdy, Ted Cruz, Chris Christy, Jim DeMint, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, and even Paul Ryan, play that part. And initially, they all sounded good. They said the right things. Some of them even governed reasonably well on the state level. And when the time came for them to step up and truly lead on the issues that really mattered most, they all failed us. We were fooled. And why were we fooled? Because we believed that someone elected to higher office could truly be independent and act on his own. We believed he was guided soley, by conscience and by what he believed was right. We ignored the now obvious truth, that no one who rises to the level of national office does so without relying on other people’s money - lots of it.
It amazes me that some here, still haven’t learned that lesson and think that DeSantis is different; that he’s immune to these forces and makes his decisions entirely on personal conviction, with no consideration to what the puppet masters want. The strings of the puppet masters are the donations they give to politicians like DeSantis, and those strings ultimately determine his policy choices. To believe that this wasn’t always the case with DeSantis, is extremely naive. The money doesn’t just start coming in once you’ve achieved success as a governor. The money is what allowed DeSantis to attain the governorship in the first place. The influence has always been there.
Trump is the truly unique exception to this rule, which is why the powers that be, have tried to move heaven and earth to thwart him. To focus only on what he wasn’t able to achieve in a first term and ignore all that he WAS able to accomplish - and in the face of unprecedented resistance, is to be oblivious to the historic battle our country is now witnessing - a battle to free our government from the clutches of the long established money powers that have controlled it for decades, if not longer. Trump’s agenda goes to the heart of the deep state’s control of our country. DeSantis isn’t even playing the same game as Trump.
Board transferred all it's power to Disney shortly before DeSantis' appointees took over
If true, who tipped off Disney? And was DeSantis aware that Disney knew?
