Re: 35 - Flynn spoke to FBI agents without attorneys present from the White House Counsel’s Office (I mistakingly said previously the NSC).
That was an incredible error in judgement to speak with the FBI under those circumstances.
I don’t know that it would have made much difference that early in the administration. I doubt the “attorney’s” from the NSC would have thought that the FBI was their to trick him into some kind of “trap” either.
The facts are clear. Obama and his administration set the trap by dropping sanctions just prior to leaving KNOWING that it would create an instant problem that Trump would have to deal with. There was NOTHING in the transcript that was improper for an incoming principle like Flynn and what he said was very reasonable..... please wait and we are going to work with you on this before you do something rash.
It is what any of us would have expected him do or say.
