A sad consequence of the internet killing newspapers is that there is few or no reliable sources of local and state news any longer.

Its dangerous too. Every American now gets fed only national political narratives, and become hyped by leftist/deep-state news control over internet and social-media.

Central government, central news, central politics.

Another sign our federal republic is dead.

Plus people don’t read and their children don’t see them reading.

I use to tell non-reading parents to subscribe to a newspaper and at least let their kids see them looking at the sports page, or for sales.
