Amherst has very few blacks, which is why there isn't any looting. This looting is mostly concentrated in the City of Buffalo, which has a population that is at least half black. But the Walmart that was hit is outside the city (there isn't one in the city - big surprise), so they can make the effort to loot, but not to work.

I stayed with my daughter this past July and it's a nice neighborhood she lives in and she has nice neighbors. I'm thankful for that! She was able to finally get out today (12/27) and drive to check out her workplace (she's a manager) and then onto Wegmans to stock up on food. She's been stuck at home for 5 days but she did have power.
