Ronna McDaniel’s path to another two-year term leading the Republican National Committee faces a major obstacle: Some of the loudest voices in the conservative movement are calling for her to go.

Since the midterms, RNC members say their inboxes have been clogged with hundreds of emails each week — and the uproar has now turned to the RNC’s spending on events, private travel, luxury accommodations and other expenses in an election cycle that didn’t deliver strong GOP wins. McDaniel’s top opponent is Harmeet Dhillon, an RNC committeewoman from California and election law attorney who has represented Donald Trump.

Letters of support for McDaniel show her backers number as many as 107 of the RNC’s 168 voting members — more than the majority needed to win. That outcome would defy the demands of a chorus of national conservative voices, though Dhillon said some 50 members have committed to support her, and she expects to continue peeling off McDaniel backers.

Note on source: I see the FR software considers Politico to be Dem propaganda. This story, at least, seems to me to be straightforward. It gives ample coverage to the views of McDaniel's supporters and those of her detractors.

Ronna has held that position for several years. Who knows? She may be ready to hand it to a successor.
Then again she may get renewed like LaPierre just because...
The national party chairman has one job - get Republicans elected.
She failed.
The only metric for an RNC chair that matters is the success of national elections. But that metric alone, McDaniel is a colossal failure. She needs to be booted, though I doubt the RNC has the brains or the principles to do it.
I believe he said he supports both McDaniel and Dhillon.

Considering her poor rate of return on investment. The outrageous spending to attract donors should be reason enough to oust McDaniel. We shouldn’t roll like the Dems.

I expect that some of the money she got from FTX is being distributed behind the scenes to members of “the 168” even as we speak. If anyone knows how to cheat to win an election, she does, having been complicit in defeating MAGA candidates last month.

Harmeet was on Ronna’s RNC Board Of Directors when Ronna’s mismanagement of funds was happening. I don’t trust her, either.
As much as he annoys me, Mike Lindell, also running for the job, would be better than either of those two. He would be a better steward of donors’ money, and wouldn’t tolerate such nonsense.
And inquiring minds want to know if, where, and how payments to Ronna’s plastic surgeon were disguised in the RNC financial documents.
And she won’t debate the other 2 contenders.. She said she WOULD appear to ‘the 168’, those in charge of elections. Anther elitist, ignorant %$#*, ignoring the people. NOT ONE THIN DIME TO THE RNC OR WINRED.
