I was 100% behind the Canadian trucker convoy and their protests, but whoever thought it was a good idea to block the busiest trade corridor to the U.S. was retarded. Those truckers would still be parked in Ottawa today if they kept their protest confined to Canada.
Canada is our little trading b!tch, and anything that disrupts shipments to major U.S. industries is going to be dealt with more harshly than even a domestic insurrection in Canada.

Saying “The US made the PM do it” is a standard way for opponents of the party in power to rally supporters. Trudeau was going to crack down anyway, and if Biden had actually “ordered” him to do so, Trudeau might just have dragged his feet more than he had planned to.
