They blamed Reagan for that recession. It was the result of the run-away inflation of the late 70s and the actions of the Federal Reserve to combat it. I remember around 1984 I started seeing the first ‘help wanted; signs I had ever seen in my adult life, popping up all over... so Reaganomics did work after all...

Eerily similar to today and the recession we see coming. Trump will ride in to save the country, just like Reagan.

I remember the late 70s and early 80s well. Jobs were few and applicants were many. I was in the Navy during that period and got out in Dec 87 and the job market was still tight in my small town. But then, opportunities were always limited in my home town.
