No sweetie, what should be central should be that politicians represent their constituents.

That was historically the Democrats approach. That's why segregationalist southern Democrats could team up with northern city boss urban Democrats all the way into the 1980s, with each constituency getting a piece of the action.

It is the very definition of fringe to try to inflict abortion bans that go against the will of the people.
