Same thing here in North Idaho. Newcomers complain “People are shooting guns in the woods! There are too many bears and mountain lions and moose on the loose. The government won’t allow CRT in schools. There’s too much smoke coming from burning slash piles in the forest. People are open-carrying GUNS!”
We have over a thousand bears here in tiny lefty CT.
You must be dealing with some folks from very urban areas.
