If you know of a more politically conservative place of 16,000 residents than Hot Springs Village, please inform me. There are many Republican events, fundraisers, meetings, etc here, but the Democrat party is virtually nonexistent. It’s a wonderful breath of fresh air. As I said in Post 18, I’m sure there are some Democrats here, but they must all keep mum. I’ve never heard anyone spouting Dem nonsense here. And we like it that way.
That is encouraging to know. Perhaps I have mostly met the exceptions.
Arkansans in general appear conservative, but many have a socialist streak an inch wide and a mile deep. I guess that’s just human nature. There are probably some issues on which I’m more of a statist than not.
