That is encouraging to know. Perhaps I have mostly met the exceptions.
Arkansans in general appear conservative, but many have a socialist streak an inch wide and a mile deep. I guess that’s just human nature. There are probably some issues on which I’m more of a statist than not.
In Polk County AR 92% voted for Trump in the 2020 election. The real issue in AR is the RINO Hutchinson, the Gov. Good news he is term limited this year.
Amen to that! I cast my vote for Sarah on the second day of early voting. She finally made her stances on key issues well-known. I was beginning to think that she was a stealth candidate, like Asa had been. But she came on strong over the past month. I do not regret that vote.
But I couldn’t bear to vote for Boozman. He weaseled out over the Kilgali amendment and stabbed us in the back. If he loses by one vote I might regret it, but I doubt it. I just didn’t vote in that race. It looks like he will cruise to re-election.
They have no shame whatsoever. I’m surprised they didn’t depict Uncle Sam wearing a MAGA hat.

You must be dealing with some folks from very urban areas.
We get lots of west coast urban transplants. Some love it, some adapt, and others go back to their urban origins after one to three years.
I've absolutely been to Stumpknockers - wonderful place with plenty of ambiance (and great fish!). I've not been to Reds, and I'm also looking forward to visiting "The Cove".
I don't live in Inverness, but I'm planning to within the next couple of years.
Go to Reds for breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.
