This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This is all well and good but it appears this winter the Russian Fed will have ample power and heat. Ikraine might not.
Reportedly, the record high Russian troop losses the other day, were the result of a failed Russian offensive in Donetsk. 200 combat vehicles took part, and about 500 Russian troops were killed in just that operation. No territory was gained.

••Energy Situation in Ukraine:
Electricity situation has stabilized somewhat recently, and the reason for that is Ukraine started importing electricity from Slovakia which south of Poland. Ukraine tested the import of electricity. Starting from yesterday, there was initial import of electricity, and today was even more. Ukraine is turning into from exporter of electricity into net importer, and prices in Europe are much higher. That’s going to be another net negative for Ukraine as economy, as a system, and its ability to defend itself; some of the power generation stations are blocked and they operate, but the power lines or transformers are damaged. There is no ability to take electricity from those, but there is somehow a line that goes all the way from Slovakia to Ukraine available. Again there is a question about about the extent of damage that’s being done to electricity distribution network, but there’s definitely significant damage - there’s still somehow a line available that allows electricity to brought to the rest of the country - so situation there a little bit stabilized.
••M-109L:
Ukraine received 20-30 self-propelled howitzers, M-109L from Italy, which is really great help; they are not the newest, but at the same time Ukraine is quickly losing its old Soviet artillery because the barrels are getting worn out. There is a rifling inside of the barrel of those howitzers which helps the shell to be more precise when it flies and hits the target - still not terribly precise, but otherwise without the rifling, it would be totally terrible.
As you use as you shoot shell through the bore, the rifling gets worn out eventually, becoming almost non-existent, and then precision really drops significantly; the gun is useless. That’s what’s really happening in large numbers with old Soviet self-propelled howitzers that Ukraine has, and it really needs replacement.
Plus, Ukraine is switching to NATO caliber - 155mm, instead of 152mm that Soviet Union used to have; this also means that there is on-going replacement of the equipment from the old Soviet to old Western Equipment, because these howitzers are all old equipment - they are no longer in service in Italian army, but its still excellent, great help for Ukraine.
In addition, there is there are news that Italy has 300 of this M-109Ls in its inventory that are not being used, and not needed by the Italian army. That means that Ukraine can get up to 300 of those, which would be excellent help for Ukrainian army as a whole, and definitely gonna help Ukrainian forces. About the M-109L: US-made, self-propelled howitzer, but its was standard equipment in NATO or used to be.
••Italian Support:
It looks like the new government in Italy is actually helping Ukraine more than the previous one, and especially that’s a big surprise, given that there was a lot of rhetoric that it was going to be a pro-Russian government, which proved anything but that.
••Panzer-2000 Quality:
Then there is another interesting related update: Lithuania is repairing Panzer-2000 howitzer for Ukraine, they are repairing 12 units and Ukraine got a total of 12 units, with four more coming, but Ukraine got 12 units; they’ve been in use since June or July, so its not much useful life in them, which is extremely concerning, because this is a major engineering flaw that they’re not built to last - that’s the conclusion.
Also some incidents with cracks where the the barrels would explode. All of this evidence points to the quality of manufacturing, and also quality of the engineering sort is definitely not quite there where they need to be for the real world; for the parade it all looks great, but for the real world, they don’t stand the test of the environment.
••Grain Export:
Russia is blocking export of Ukrainian grain since yesterday, so just as of date how many vessels stuck around Odessa so that’s all no more Odessa this is at this point two main ports because also used to be make alive and her son but for obvious reasons they’re not being used anymore so there are around 200 vessels stuck there.
This means even if Russia agrees to renew the whole trade going forward, which everything indicates they will not, even though it makes sense for them as well - they were able to export grain too, and they have large crop this year - they definitely have incentives to export, however for Russia, its more important to hurt Ukraine’s finances then to let them gain from its exports.
If Russia decides to open it up again, the problem is the bad president from a perspective of the marine insurers and and vessel owners - they would be charging really high rates to go to Ukraine, which then again makes the whole trade unprofitable. Its possible that Russia did quite a bit of damage, not only for right now, but for the future.
••North Luhansk’:
Ukrainian troops are trying to attack; they trying to cut off the road, but the road is not the main problem or objective. The objective is to cross the river and establish bridgehead, because that creates a huge threat for the Russian troops, and forces withdrawal all the way from the northern pat to the southern part of the frontline. This would be a decisive move, however Russian troops now have more boots on the ground, defensive positions are stronger. The attack was not successful, and the right moment has been lost, a lost opportunity.
••North Donbas:
Things here are pretty much the same with Wagner mercenary is continuing the attacks without any success. The formal owner now suggests shutting down Google and YouTube in Russia.
••Central Donbas:
Russian troops are attacking out the northern salient and trying to expand it, and then the same is going on here out of the Piskey salient.
Russian troops got into a village called Wademe, north of Piskey that creates big problems for Ukrainian troops in terms of its defensive position, or the coherent defensive line.
The only attack that is yielding success to Russian troops is this attack towards Pavivka. This is unverified, but they claim they are fighting in Pavlovka which means its being contested. Ukrainian defensive positions south of Pavivka where penetrated. Russian troops were able to advance all the way to Pavivka, including Pavivka itself.
There is fighting going on in the Pavivka - where it all end up we’ll see - at this point, even the loss of the Pavivka doesn’t really change anything as long as Vulgladar holds - its the cornerstone of Ukrainian defenses, because it creates a wedge into Russian territory and into Russian-controlled area.
As long as it holds, this will prevent Russian troops from being able to move north and create the pincer, because the logic on the Russian side is the following: all of this attacks that are happening like on this front line don’t quite lead to anything.
There are heavy losses. At this pace, they can they can continue doing attacks for another year without much success. They are actively trying to figure out where else they can bridge Ukrainian defenses and achieve what they want, which the initial goal here is to push Ukrainian troops as far as possible from Donetsk, but so far they were not successful with the exception of Pavivka. It doesn’t look like Ukrainian troops might be losing, it its still situation under control.
••Kherson Bridgehead:
Things here are a stalemate. Ukrainian command is focused on attacking & disrupting Russian supplies. There were more attacks with HIMARS against the Russian ferries & pontoons - the extent of the damage is unknown, but I’m sure that some of them did hit the targets.
They could get up to 300 more M-109Ls from Italy were they are no longer in service.

Draghi might have put an aid package together on his way out.
“According to the Italian newspaper, from 20 to 30 US-made M109 155 mm self-propelled howitzers are to be sent to Ukraine. These M109 howitzers are part of the latest military aid package agreed upon by now-former Prime Minister Mario Draghi, La Republica reported.”
Now if 300 are sent instead of 20-30, that looks like the new government.
Russia unleashed the third mass cruise missile attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, during this Monday morning rush hour (7-9 AM in Kyiv), a developing pattern to the strikes.
50 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were reportedly launched mostly from Tu-95/Tu-160 strategic bombers operating from the north of the Caspian Sea and Rostov region.
44 were reported to have been interdicted by Air Defense. Additional waves of drone attacks produced a total of 18 strikes across ten regions of the Ukraine, mostly targeting civilian electrical and water supply. About 80% of Kiev residents have had their water supply disrupted. Also struck were energy infrastructure in Chernivtsi, Kirovohrad oblasts, and Zaporizhzhia City. Hundreds of settlements in seven regions of Ukraine were cut off from electricity One interdicted cruise missile landed in a village in Moldova.
Targeting such civilian infrastructure is a war crime under the Geneva and Hague Conventions, to which Russia is a signatory.
