While appearing with Neil Cavuto to discuss the 2024 election and other matters, Jeb Bush stated Florida Governor Ron DeSantis “will be a formidable candidate in 2024.” {Direct Rumble Link}
Jeb!, the failed 2016 GOPe club insider, is famous for representing the more acceptable side of the Republican party apparatus, and like former House Speaker Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush has high praise for the Florida governor describing himself as a “Ron DeSantis fan.”
Bush told Cavuto in the interview Thursday that if DeSantis runs, “he will be a competitive contender for a number of reasons.” Adding, “the main reason I support Ron DeSantis is because of how well he has run my own state. He has done a great job as governor.” WATCH:

Real supporters of a candidate only endorse when helpful to the candidate. Jeb and Ryan are off brand for DeSantis.
Could be worse. He could get the Mitt Romney endorsement

Maybe all he gets is a bowl. But remember Heb had 100 million $ in the bank that he didn’t get to spend. His proof will be whether he spreads any of it in DeSantis direction. If not it’s just another please clap?

Ryan and Yeb! both endorse Desantis. These endorsements will be the death of any possible Desantis candidacy in 2024.

I thought this endorsement was a boat anchor around the neck with a long walk off a short pier and a side order of death knell for a politician.
It’s easy to endorse a guy that’s winning by a country mile. And the Bush family wants him to run against Trump.
Not if DeSantis separates himself from them and there influencers.
Easier said than done. Especially since the Ryan endorsement came many days ago and Desantis has never made a single statement rejecting his endorsement and, he is unlikely to do so against the Yeb! endorsement either.
His silence in both cases is likely because he covets the RINO donor Dollars that they gave to both those losers. A good bet for cash. A bad bet for peeling away any MAGA support.

Sweet satire of the lede. Jeb Bush is so irrelevant politically his 'endorsement' is not only forgone, but is pointless.
