Me too, until I realized they were one of the HIGHEST in Texas! They were KILLING me!

My wife and I are both over 50, the only ones on the policy, and neither has had an accident (at fault or other) in over 25 years...we saved over $210, PER MONTH, switching to a different provider two years ago! I called and told them why I was looking to leave and they told me, there were added costs because of other Texas drivers which are causing their rates to go up...I asked then why are OTHER insurance providers able to absorb that cost better than the VAUNTED USAA. He just repeated his script line about "other driver costs, blah, blah, blah"...

I had been with USAA insurance and banking since 1995, the year after I got out of the Marine Corps. I am still upset about them and their rate increases!

This is what the confederates should have done before seceding. They should have separated the economic connections to the power structure of the North, and eventually there would have been no motive for the North to insist on keeping them.

Of course, with the North's control of congress, they probably would have passed more laws forcing the South to patronize connected Northern businesses.

That corrupt interplay between government and crony capitalism will not be denied their money streams if there is anything in their power that can prevent it.

Almost every major urban area in every state is controlled by leftists—as well as almost every major institution, profit or non-profit, regardless of where it is located.

Seceding states would need to shut down these large institutions and ban them from operating in their states.

You show a common misconception about what secession really means. Secession doesn't disenfranchise or end democracy. It just breaks it down into more managable pieces. Less centralization.
